As the Hermit needs his Staff as a rod of support for his/her journey throughout life, so, too, do The Hermits of the Holy Cross need Your prayers as our “Staff of Support”. We believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer as an avenue of God’s Grace and Healing.
Therefore, we invite you to offer your prayers on behalf of our Ministry and our Hermits. As physically challenged or completely disabled persons with a strong Christian Monastic inclination, and a sole desire to offer our sufferings according to God’s Will for the Salvation, Healing and Wholeness of others, we can sometimes feel rather isolated in our Calling.
We have thus come to understand our unique Vocation as one of Hermits, in service of the LORD through this very offering of our aloneness, our daily pain, our longings and all of the struggles that come with such disabling health conditions.
Won’t you accompany us in this journey as our Prayerful Support Ministers; our Hermits “Staff”

I am a wife, mother, and grammy. I volunteer at church and in the community. I make homemade crocheted baby items that I give away to those God puts in my life. I pray for the little ones and their parents while I’m crocheting. This is the first time I’ve joined a blog!
